Brilliant day! Started off a little wet, sighting laps were done with windscreen wipers on intermittent!! From 9am, ski's were blue, and track completely dry by midday.

The noticable difference between off-season trackdays on summer track days, were the lack of the more expensive car! I was a little nervous of entering the circuit when 80% of the cars were worth little more than £500, all armed with roll cages, etc., but most were quite polite and all were excellent drivers! The pace was a lot quicker than usual with the majority being racers.

Managed to explore the slide with traction off completely in a 2nd gear tight corner (russels), and had the back out a number of times. Very comfortable, and never feels close to the limit. I'll say it again: this car really flatters the driver!!

But, an excellent long day, and even got some in-car video footage, which I'll have to transfer over.
