did a track day at colerne nr bath today, but had to stop after lunch.
the brake pad warning light came on and the brake pedal seemed to be getting longer in travel. on inspection the pad material seems to be wearing very unevenly , with parts of the pad coming away from the body and the wear sensors touching the discs but with plenty of material at the hub end of the pad.
i know the tyres are nearly shot , but i was expecting the pads to do longer service. do you think ill get any of this done under warranty ?
the car is 3 months old and used mostly for track day work. (its done four now)
it has now covered 1500 miles.
if not warranty can anyone recomend a pad upgrade ?
the car is a 2.7 with the smaller brakes ,and they pull the car up on track days fine.
