Hi TT
I did not dynoed my car!! So did the car feel any faster??
I can confirm what you said. Sharper throttle response lower down(Below 4000rpm) but no much difference above that--saying this, it is very difficult to tell the difference on a 295bhp with a 8bhp peak increase! I also notice the snarl from the engine came earlier with less throttle travel---psychological???
I am happy with the improved drivability of the car but it is definitely not the best vfm conversion---it costs me a grand which inc. the sps device (In my glove box) which I can convert it back to standard before my service or if I have a crash. I think if you are not bother about insurance company or dealer knowing your car is chipped, a superchip might be better vfm--£295 inc VAT and fitting!
I also had a look at the AMD website before I bought the REVO as they are cutting the cost of their one click device from £1000 to £750. I opt for REVO with the SPS device cause it offer much more than 2 prog-standard and tuned. There are maps for different fuel grade and a seperate one for light mods.
Which prog does your car run??? Any other mods on your car?
Don't get too disappointed with the peak power ---most normal aspirated engine can only run properly within certain parameter set by the manufacterer. There aren't much room for tuner to play with unlike turbocharge engine. Most firms advertised 10-15bhp inc. which sounds about right!
