Could it be that you are inadvertently pressing the lock button on the key fob? It's notoriously easy to do.
I haven't had the self-locking problem (did you get it programmed to lock at say, 5mph? perhaps it was done improperly?), but I have found the front truck to open seemingly on its own, but I think it's me... the key fob is VERY sensitive it seems.
