Sumonic,
Great video... on a great drivers' road. I've done it many times, but in a Miata and am looking forward to experience it in my CS. Most of the comments are right on though... early am (watch for slick spots) and the traffic isn't bad. The hogs are the worst... the rice burners crash and die! If you check the Tree of Shame, it's mostly Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, etc. Anyone going next weekend will be met with something like 3-400 Miatas as they all go the last weekend in July and there will be no rooms closer than 20 miles. But mid-week is best. And there are any number of other area roads besides the Tail and Cherohala that are entertaining, if it's crowded, just roam the area. At night, go to Maggie Valley for great Bluegrass!
