Fuel Prices in Germany

OK, before you go complaining about paying $3 a gallon for gas, take a look at this:

Those prices are PER LITER. So do the math. Super is 1.43 Euros per liter. There are 3.8 liters in a gallon, and 1.3 dollars in a euro. So, I'm paying about $7.06 per gallon.....!

Keep in mind that gasoline is traded in dollars, and the dollar has been at historic lows against the euro. If that should correct, which is a guarantee, these prices will go up significantly. Ouch..... Now you know why there are no Suburbans or Yukons on the streets of Germany.
