Interesting. If you read the laser section of the laser section of the Escort radar school website info you leave with confidence that the 9500 can "readily see this agressive threat". There are references to laser signals spliting up and /or bouncing off other objects which implies that these signals will produce an advance warning signal. However if you read further there is a reference to a "group" of vehicles which would sort of further imply that a single vehicle would not be protected contray to the previous statement. . I have no prior knowledge of LIDAR issues.Completely new to the state.-The additional hardware sounds like a good idea. Will check for other related threads.
