I have not been bothered by the tint at night and also, as predicted, have not had any problems with cell phone reception. I think the tint makes the car look shaper and definitely greatly reduces the cabin heat gain making the AC work less. You park your cayman outdoors at work so minimizing UV at least through the side and rear windows would really help preserve the interior. Go for it....
