I think you might have already told us, but: does the Capristo remote control allow you to lock the valves closed? There are street scenarios where that's preferable, and tracks where that's mandatory because of noise restrictions.


Soooo, I think when you get the underdrive pulley and IPD plenum on there, you'll be brushing up against 3.8+x51 power (381FWHP). And your torque curve is great -- wide, smooth, and predictable. This is a real accomplishment. I think you're going to need some custom ECU parameters to get the most out of the strap-ons, and I'll bet you'll get to 381hp if you go to that trouble. You're about ready to start aero tuning in earnest methinks. As it is I think your car is good for under eight minutes on the Nurburgring, in the right hands. Tweak the brakes (recirculators or PCCB) and add some downforce and I'd bet it would better 7:45 with Rohrl at the wheel (Rohrl drove an OEM 997 GT3 RS around in that time, and a Carrera GT in 7:28, as listed here).
