Porsche engines do "tick" to some. A lifter would be suspect but your dealer would have found that.
Try removing the privacy screen to see if that helps the hatch noise.
Gas mileage is a function of the right foot and or city driving. Try going to the country and do a long drive and see if your mileage doesn't improve.
