When I picked my car up at the factory, I met another couple from California that were also there to pick up a tourist delivery car, a 2008 Boxster S. After our vacations, we spoke on the phone to compare notes. He discovered his when he crossed into Switzerland and pulled over to purchase a highway travel permit, also requiring clutch use.
