thats how long it took me to hit 2000 miles. for the past 87 days i've excercised an enormous amount of self-discipline in not exceeding 4200 rpm (i regularly hit 4000 rpm, but never 4200).

on my way home from the office yesterday, when i was a couple of miles away from the house, i notice the odometer at 1999. i kept an eye on it and when it hit 2000, i was tempted to "celebrate", but there was too much traffic. when i pulled into the driveway, the odometer read 2001. i guess that i'll have to "celebrate" later in the week.

how long did it take you guys and gals to hit 2000 miles? what did you do to celebrate the end of your break-in period?
