My CS has about 750 miles now after 5 weeks.... I just returned from the dealer...they added the front license plate bracket for me...and while there I too lamented about the 4200 rpm breakin... several mechanics chimed in saying the restriction is to not CRUISE above 4200...but in fact we should be regularly excerising the engine up close to red line to better seat the valves. I asked "Are you sure?" and every one agreed... accelerate to your heart's content...just don't hang there for any period... Someone want to confrim this with another service department?
