Before going to court, I suggest reading Dale Carnegie's book - "How to Win Friends and Influence People".

I've seen people get screwed by hiring lawyers who don't follow these principles and they have to pay them regardless of the sentence!

You'll get a much happier judge if you happen to represent yourself and follow what the book has to say.
