That's very weird - if it really is that loud, and is really that different when shifting into first, as opposed to the other gears, then if it was me, I'd take it back to the dealer - maybe they didn't get it put back together correctly or something... that's weird... do it under warranty, that way if something else related goes wrong, they already have it on record as a previous issue. If it turns out to need a couple of drops of lube, then that's good, too.
