The whole "the engine sound is the only music I need" is pure bunk. Threads on this debate usually go something like this:

<OP> I don't like the OEM head unit. It doesn't support MP3 CDs.
<Reply> I don't use the head unit. The engine sound is all the music I need.

Helpful, huh? I have yet to see anyone who has that view actually remove their head unit from their car.

The car came with a CD/AM/FM head unit. If someone doesn't want to use it, that's a valid decision. However, there are more than a few of us who feel that Porsche skimped on the entertainment system by not including MP3 CD support, iPod support, or even a simple AUX jack.
