The German web site for Porsche features interesting information pertaining to the exhibition hall, showing exactly which cars are where, and including web cameras.
Just go to
Home - Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG
and click on where it says
> Die IAA 2007.
Then click on the bottom right of the photo showing the red GT2, where it refers to WEBSPECIAL STARTEN >
This takes you to the IAA portal.
I'm not sure if the web cameras have gone live yet. There's also a podcast to check out.
There's also a short movie, partially interactive to allow different vantage views, featuring the design edition Cayman with racing stripes:
Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1
Being there in person is more interesting, I'm sure.
Already one of the early surprise sensations of the show (which opens Thursday to insiders and press, and Saturday to the general public) is VW's "up" concept car, likely to compete with the new Fiat Cinquecento. It's already being featured in the news and at VW's German site.
