My 2006 CS has never made a sound like that when going over bumps or rough roads. It does have that hatch buffer shown in the picture; perhaps that is why it does not offend with the "CLUNK" noise. My CS has run pure as the driven snow so far. Picked it up February 27, 2006 and now has about 14,000 miles on it. She's a keeper!
