I have a 285/30/20" tire on my Porsche 11" rear wheels. The fit is perfect. The tire is a slight stretch but for such an aggressive application the stretch will be your friend. I have the same size tire on the front which is a 10" wheel.
I know customers running a 275 on 11" rears also. Keep in mind that all tires are not created equal. We find that a Dunlop SportMaxx is wider then say a Toyo. We typically order one size smaller on a Dunlop opposed to some other brands. It all depends on that you are trying to accomplish and how much room you have to work with.
