I thought X band
radar was a thing of the past. During the last month, I have been hit with 3 X band warnings on my
escort 9500. 2 on the interstate in NC and 1 in a rual area of
SC.No doubt that these were cop cars. I almost ignored the first one but I had GPS -locked out all known threats in the area so I slowed down. Sure as heck- there he was. The GPS function saved my @ss because otherwise I would have ignored the warning as a door opener or an alarm.
