This is the first person who I think has said this, I've driven the 987 Boxster S and Cayman S back to back and the Cayman clearly had more engine and exhaust volume. I'm not trying to sway you towards the Cayman if you like convertibles go with the Boxster, just don't make the mistake that a Boxster with hardtop = Cayman S because that simply isn't true.
