So many questions, so little time...
HP depends on where you measure it. A CS is someplace around 295 to 300 at the flywheel. Inefficiency of the drive train decreases the HP applied to the road to 255 to 260. Dynos measure at the wheel. You may notice another dyno that was put up today that showed 255 uncorrected and 261 corrected... and this was after a tuning mod and (I believe a Miltek and de-snork). That translates to a bit over 300 at the flywheel (unless we remove the engine to test it, we are stuck with calculating back from the wheels). Mine, after
Capristo alone is a bit less than 320, or 276 at the wheels.
CEL's? Yes, I had them when I first had the system put on. I do not have them now afer SnapFlash.
Do I feel a difference? I can't say that I do. Is it there? sure it is.
After two weeks and only 250 miles ( hey, I had to give a speach in Jackson Hole)... ahhh I think it is broken. There's no difference between open and closed soundwise like there was when first installed. It is pretty loud all the time so I'm going to have to look for a leak.
Would I do it again? To be honest, no I probably wouldn't. For me, actually my wife, the loud setting is too loud. I heard it from a distance as the installers started it and drove it to the dyno, and that was pretty impressive... totally different than what you hear from inside... deep with a nice burble.
SF... No West U. complaints but the neighbors here certainly know when I come and go. Serves them right though for keeping the alley muddy!
