I was advised not to let the hood or trunk slam when i bought my '00 Boxster S, so I don't slam the CS lids either. I also hate touching the paint, so I press gradually but firmly on the Cayman badging. I confess I was advised to press on the 2 sides, not on the badge (nor on the Porsche badge on the hood) or eventually I would dent it, but I do it anyway.
