By clear it he doesn't really mean clear it. He means you change the warning message to a red exclamation mark, but you'll still have lights on your dash. It's like when you're running low on fuel and it says 'Consider remaining range' and you pull back on the stalk and the message goes away and you get a little red exclamation mark instead.

I take it you'd get that little red exclamation mark and a little yellow TPMS specific light on the dash always lighting up, plus a warning beep when you start the car? I don't really want to have to see all that stuff constanly on my dash. I think I'll get the TPMS unless anyone else knows of a surfire way to reprogram it off for the winter.
