This looks like a great run - we may have to include it in the Rock'n'Croc 3 event next Spring. Looking at some maps and Google Earth, it looks like this could be combined with the Richard Russell Scenic Highway (a great switchback climb I've done once, about 8 years ago) and Rt 180 to Suches, capping it off with an ascent of the Brasstown Bald. This could be done either before or after roads near Highlands and the Dragon.

For you guys that are more familiar with this area - does this make sense? Are there any good places to stay and eat near there? Thanks.
