More useful information from the organizers.
Things to remember:
1) Bring a picnic lunch - we will be eating lunch in the park.
2) Make sure you fill up your car and empty your bladder before you arrive in the parking lot.
3) Bring 2-way radios if you have them - it's a good way to keep in touch during the drive.
4) Bring money. The park wasn't charging entrance when we visited, but I don't know if the do charge at peak times.
5) Consider nametags...

You will find a coffee shop on Bridge St. in Lambertville for coffee and donuts if you so desire. Also, you will find 2 gas stations at the intersection of Bridge St. and Rte 29 for filling up/emptying out. These gas stations are a short walk from the start point.

Don't worry, we'll be spending quite some time at High Point. We'll have the standard meet and greet - social time. Time to admire the view and also time to grab lunch and chat some more. I think we'll arrive a little after 10am. I do not envisage us leaving before 11:15am.
Also, I will be trying to put together a detour drive of Route 97 once we reach High Point State Park. If I get one person who knows the area to lead the way, then I'll definitely be doing that. If nobody steps up, this detour will get skipped. Not a big deal, as there's another run coming soon that will probably cover this road as well.

I will post more comments about the Long Island caravan route in just a few moments.
