One of the things I really like about CaymanClub is that it (primarily) focuses on the cars and the people who own/admire them. There is a spot for non-car-related topics, and that's great. But, that's where all the non-car stuff should remain. In fact, if I remember correctly, a decision had been made a long time ago that politics were not an appropriate topic anywhere on CaymanClub.

This election's "political silly season" promises to be the ugliest and nastiest yet (and that's saying something!). I would really rather not have that nonsense intrude upon our nice, civilized car-centric site. We will all get more exposure than anyone can stand to a seemingly-endless stream of political chicanery, buffoonery and related nonsense through other sources, it would be really nice if we could avoid it here.

Thanks!
I think you are absolutely correct and I agree with you. Lets keep the politics out of the CaymanClub. We have enough issues to deal with

Best,
Scott Slauson
