Interesting question. I think the answer lies in what you really want. I thought about your question last week before I ordered my Cayman, as my dealer had a 2002 or thereabouts turbo on the showroom floor for90 something thousand.
I really appreciate everything about the Cayman, what it is, where it came from, and what I think I am going to do with it. After the beating I took for the options, I think with tax the Cayman will be in the same league as the Turbo at my dealer.
I don't really care about it costing more than a base 911, or an S if it is near that price. I like the Cayman and will get it exactly the way I want it. I don't care about resale, lease rates, bla bla bla. I think the Crock Rocks and I think it will become one of the best Porsches ever.
Cheers
