Sorry, you can't answer a question with me know having to ask myself more questions.
I do appreciate your thoughts, I prefer the driving technics and intensity of the autocross. The Cayman will be awsome for porsche autox and daily, but I am also considering scca events and it will have its work cut out for it to be competitive in scca autox against the new Vettes in Super Stock.

FYI a gt2 won this years very competive scca nationals autox ASP class. So I think the turbo would be competitive too.
Corvettes usually take the win.

For the track days i really get a bit bored and would need to progress to car on car racing and for that I am concidering nasa events with a 944 spec not real fast but great handling and no worries about $$ damage.
I guess it is a tough one,
