I am torn between putting it up for the winter to protect it and driving it. The snow and ice doesn't bother me as much as the salt and rocks they use to melt it.

I think gtscayman has the best idea, but will probably end up closer to Polar's plan. I wouldn't mind putting on some Blizzaks or Alpins, but still holding out for some used 18" rims.
