I just received Bill's shortened socket (delivered in 2 days by Priority Mail) and I must say, it's a work of art. Beautiful job Bill. If I didn't know, I'd swear it was unaltered.

Since I'm doing 3 UDP installs this weekend, and I've got a busy work week, the saving in time alone to go buy and then hacksaw or Dremel a socket is well worth many times the few bucks I could save by doing it myself.

Props to Bill for his kindness and generosity in offering his time, talent and equipment to this virtual community.
