I don't believe increasing front pressure 3-4 psi would reduce understeer, sorry.

I have always run Michelin PS2 tires, and never really suffered any noticable understeer. Certainly NOTHING compared to the RS4. But then I have always liked to corner the CS with a little lift just before the apex to bring the rear round. Not for speed, but just for fun!
