Well considering that its predecessor the Skyline wasn't much to look at either, I guess it shouldn't be surprising that it wasn't much of a looker. I'm sure the GT-R enthusiasts would tell you that it's what's under the body that counts anyway.
I'd love to see the R8 in person - always been an Audi fan. My wife saw it for the first time on that Super Bowl commercial and was immediately interested in it - until I told her the price.
