to really decide if the the R8 is the worth the money and giving up the cayman you have to test drive the car. i know this is practically impossible through the dealer. my only idea is to have the dealer call some of the nicer past customers of the r8 and see if they will let you take it for a drive (with them in the car). also, there has to be one used r8 in calif for sale. find it and test it. i would not pull the trigger without a test drive.
