I changed my oil this weekend as well, whereas if I would of taken some pics, they would of been almost and exact copy of yours. Including some trouble with the drain plug. I forgot to put a new washer back with the drain plug, which resulted in oil leak. Thank God I noticed it and managed to do a quick swap with the spare plug/washer I've ordered from Suncoast. I managed to let only about 1/2 quart of oil out during the swap of the plug, however I do have to agree that it is very easy to strip the thread on these plugs. They are definitely disposable.
