Well, it's hard to diagnose over the Internet, of course... but there have been problems with '07s and there seems to be little rhyme or reason as to the mileage when it happens, and it's happened in rare occasions more than once to the same car. The key for me was that you said it was changing, and for the worse in your opinion - in that case, I wouldn't wait - you shouldn't worry you'll look like an idiot - it's a somewhat expensive piece of machinery - have it looked at it you think it's not working right.
