1. Now parking in a special place Yes
2. Have Porsche cups, hats, calendars all over your workplace No
3. Drive through the parking lot in a gear designed to raise the volume of the engine Yes
4. Mention your new purchase a few times a day No
5. Altered your driving style to a more aggressive one Probably, like to think not but it's too obvious
6. Are constantly looking to see who is checking you out when you drive? I'm afraid so, but I really don't want to
I've always been crazy about cars and owned my share of flashy ones so people don't bother to ask. They do think I'm crazy for spending money on cars (in reality it costs me the same or less then what they spend on their SUV etc.) The ones that do ask me a stupid question will often get "it's none of your business" reply. I didn't steel the car so much more beyond that shouldn't matter. My 2.7 is the metallic brown variety so it doesn't draw quite the same attention as brighter colors.
I think that when guys look at it they are confused why I would spend so much money on what they perceive as a toy. I disagree that it's a toy and I actually drive it like the car it is. The funny thing is when they see me loading the car after a visit to the supermarket. They all of a sudden have an epiphany that you can actually use the car for getting groceries and other things. It's almost like they want to say: "I wish I thought of that, somehow I felt you must drive a Yukon to accomplish that".
