So in other words, you haven't actually played the game.

From what I've read, it's got 7 unique tracks and over 70 cars to drive, which hardly makes this a simple demo. Plus free online play, head to head play, ability to tune the cars you drive, and arcade play. No, it's not the complete game, and no, there are no P-cars yet, but it's still one heck of a content-heavy title, so if you want to save your $40 and wait another year to avoid the "half-a$$ product" for the full version to come out, that's your prerogative. I'm satisfied spending $3/month for the next year to be given the chance to play this now. I wasn't asking for opinions about what people thought of Polyphony's decision to release this in lieu of the full version.

Damage modeling is supposed to come out as a downloadable update sometime later in the year. And I'll be satisfied driving a REAL P-car instead of in a video game for the time being.
