Country Flag Emblems

Those little flag emblems to tell us which country a person is from are a constant (if minor) source of irritation to me. I would much rather just have the country name spelt out. OK the usual flags are obvious (ie. USA, GB, Canada) but there are several which tell me nothing and I don't want to spend time looking them up. Additionally it would be impossible to tell if someone was from Australia or New Zealand as the only difference between those flags is the number of small white stars (which are indecipherable at the size they are displayed). Am I the only one annoyed by this? What about it Ken?
