Indeed, all of the technology is already in the car to do not just timed runs, but lap timing as well. Its pathetic that the SportChrono requires you to manually start and stop the timer, or set a new lap. Like I'm going to be anywhere near accurate (let alone safe) trying to flick the stick for a new lap while hauling across the finish line at 160ft/sec, and then diving hard on the brakes. So the 'sports display" is useless (if not downright dangerous)
