I do not need the best products. What I am looking for are products that are easy to use while doing a reasonable job.
You sound like a candidate for the Detailbest FREE Online Detailing Guide!
Detailbest.com detailing your car

Check out our P21s Car Care Kit-It covers a lot of territory for a modest price of $59.97. The quality is good and the products are safe to use.

Sponge or mitt-it's personal preference. For sponges use good ones with very small pores like Zymol. They were DESIGNED for car washing. The P21s Kit also gives you a nice sponge.

Zymol Vinyl is an absolute standout product for the interior. The Germans are the top with interior plastics, and the Zymol Vinyl will maintain that subtle sheen. Instead of the cheap used car lot look.

Use good microwipes like the Zymol ones instead of the no-name communist China ones from the big box store. They'll last so much longer and work much better. If you thought cars were a commodity, you wouldn't be in the Cayman Club.

The Zymol synthetic chamois is good, and we have just gotten some "Absorbers". This item really works and will be loaded shortly into our store.

Glass cleaner shouldn't contain ammonia. Zymol Glas is available and is great. The BMW glass cleaner is also quite good.

The P21s and Zymol wheel cleaners are very good and safe to use.

Forget the cheesecloth, have some wine & cheese with friends the evening after your detail. Show them what a nice job you have accomplished!

Best regards,

Roger the Waxmeister
