The little round button on the wheel well comes out with a little prying using a flat blade screwdrive. Turn your wheels all the way for better access. Once the cap is off, you can stick a screwdriver in to press the clip and pull on the marker at the same time to release it.

Truth be told, I had a hell of a time getting the clip pressed right. So I ended up pulling on the marker and the assembly came out with the clip a little bent. No big deal, I just reshaped it to match what the clear side marker tab looked like. I don't expect to ever reinstall the amber ones, but if I ever do...

Anyway, the new ones will then just snap in. The other trickly part is the spring release for the bulb connector. Don't try to pry on this, just pull back on the clip and the connector will release.
