Rule of thumb?
Convert all of your assets into $100 bills. Put them in a pile on the ground 100 yards away.
Fully extend your arm, close one eye, and stick out your thumb.
If you can completely block your pile of money from sight with your thumb, buy used.
If your thumb looks like a toothpick in a salad bowl, buy new.
If you are sticking out a
finger right now, you should lease.
