FYI - If that's conditioner or some sort of protection agent on the leather, I'd recommend a damp cotton towel to get rid of most of it. Some folks are that really into leather (they do custom leather work) advised me that conditioners like Lexol, et al should never be used more than about one per year, and anything other than a leather product, never. Conditoners can remove the oils from new leather, and are really only intended for leather that needs work. They taught me the best leather cleaner is a white cotton towel damp with plain water.

Thanks for the advice Blueone. I have never been a big car detailer and I did use some leather cleaner/conditioner wipes and I was/am very unhappy with how greasy/oily the leather looks. I'll take your advice and try and get most of it off.
