I'm a born-and-raised Japanese but spent nearly 20 years in LA. Shoganai is shoganai, I understand but, the traffic REALLY is brutal in most cases. I still don't know how people put up with it. One time late last year I went to play golf near Mt. Fuji and enjoy my round. Going took about an hour. Coming home took over five hours... I guess I just hit that particular spot in a day.

I have a collegue at work who has a memeber at Fuji. I will visit Fuji some day soon.
