I used a similar product on mine - you can see some pics and results on this other thread.

Road Rash on Side Grills

You get the special paint color mixed and sent to you. You paint the chip and actually overpaint it. You use your glove to smooth out the blob. In three minutes you use the paint remover that is included with a microfiber towel. It worked very well for me.

I understand that the darker the paint color the more successful you will be with this kind of repair so Basalt Black was a good candidate. All the excess paint came off and the paint chips were mostly flush. I had a couple of larger paint chips where there is still a visible dent but it's not as deep or rough (or white colored) as it was.

I'm going to do those a second time and hopefully the paint will be completely flush, like it is on the smaller chips.

My vendor was Doctor Color Chip (no affiliation with me at all other than I am a one time customer) - but I'm sure other products are similar.
