At %15 off would the dealer still make any money? I was offered a new 2007 2 months ago, for 15% off (I was in the right place, at the right time)... but wasn't the car I wanted, and I wasn't ready to buy on the spot...but it got me thinking?
That is a horrible deal. I got 15% off my 2007 when I bought it new back in JULY OF 2007!

This would mean that you are getting the same deal I did a full YEAR after I did on the same car. If anything, they should give you a much higher percentage off.

Anyone who is seriously looking to get a new 2008 should be able to work 15% off, which is essentially the same deal I got back in 2007 for mine at same time of year too. Back in 2007, I spoke with 2 dealers local to me and the best they could come up with was less than 10%.

I hate it when I read that people are paying more for a 2007 TODAY than what I did a year ago for a new car.
