TPMS Glitch v2

I changed out my factory tires for winter tires using Tire Rack and local installer. Long story made somewhat shorter: the installer could never get TPMS warning lights to go out even though the TPMS was reading properly. When I switched back to summer tires, warning lights were still on. The installer indicated that his TPMS software was probably not up to date and that only Porsche could fix this. The dealership charged $60 to reset.

So am I doomed to run to dealer every time I change tires?
