IIRC, Harley introduced the catalyzed mufflers in 2006, not 1996. Also, Harley introduced fuel injection in 1998 (Magneti Marelli system) on certain models, and then switched to the current Delphi-produced systems around 2002. I believe all the current HD models are fuel injected, no more carburetors.
