Be thankful it's raining when taking PS2s to a track day in the summer, without the rain to cool the tires, temperatures get too hot and the tires will be in a downward curve with traction. High performance street tires like the PS2 are best in the cooler temperatures of the spring or fall. Take them to the track on a hot summer day and your times will be drastically slower.
